Seeing beloved original characters like Willow, Oz, and Spike back in action brought me right back to the show’s glory days. Getting glimpses of Xander, Vi, Dawn, and more made me incredibly happy.

But Frankie also totally holds her own as Willow’s passionate witch-slayer daughter navigating her powers. Jake as a rookie werewolf, Hailey, Vi’s younger half sister, and Sigmund, a half-demon, round out a lovable new Scooby crew.

With the story set in New Sunnydale as the Hellmouth threatens to open again, all the ingredients are there for a thrilling new adventure. The blend of fresh characters with nods to Buffy lore is pitch-perfect.
